Bought a camcorder DCR-SR58E 2 weeks ago excellant delivery, camcorder very good easy to use so far, spare battery NP-FV50 make sure it is v series, battery time is 3hrs 20 min also bought the bag that Amazon recomended, to big for camcorder most unsuitable unless u carry alot of leads around with you,just bought a lowepro edit 100 shoulder bag excellant bag for camcorder and spare batttery and a few more pockets to go, camcorder fits snug as a bug.
Hope this review helps people who bought this camcorder.

This shoulder bag is perfect for my camcorder and accessories.When going away on holiday or whatever,the camcorder fits snuggly into the main compartment along with the AC cable,I can also fit a 12cm tripod in as well.The front pocket is ideal for a AC adaptor,the side pockets are perfect for a battery and SD cards.The bag is so lightweight and comfortable to carry and it also looks good as well.I am very happy with this shoulder bag and would definitely recommend.

I wanted a compact bag as I have a compact camera! I was a bit worried that this was going to be too small but the HFS100 fits very snugly - i.e. no excess space and lots of good padding top, bottom and all sides. Plenty of zipped or velcrosed exterior pockets to accommodate lens filters and memory cards. Small enough to be worn on a belt but has a top handle or a shoulder strap.
