| Customer Reviews: Day Bag April 20, 2010 Stephen A. Higgs (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this bag for my new semi-pro D-SLR. The camera fits snugly in the bag with room for an extra lens and managing to squeeze the shoulder strap in as well. The pocket on the front could of been designed a little better, it is zipped, but made out of flimsy nylon. It would of been nice to have designated areas for spare battery and maybe a lens pen etc. However the flap between the pocket and the main bag will house a small waterproof like a Pertex wind-shirt.
I walked about 15 mins with the bag fully loaded before I took the camera out to use it. I found that as long as it was nestled into the small of your back it was remarkably comfortable. With the bag two parts empty I carried it around all day completely forgetting it was there.
I found that spinning the bag around to the front, it was easy to change the lenses with ease, stood up. I took the shoulder strap with me just in case I found the bag uncomfortable, but thankfully didn't use it.
I have marked the bag down, only because of the front pocket.
Try before you buy. May 8, 2009 A. Rogers (Oxfordshire, England) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is bigger than I'd expected, (even though I'd noted the measurements before ordering) & also doesn't 'sit' on my back as well as my previous Lowepro Offtrail. I find that I still used the offtrail more - so that probably tells you something - and I have now bought a Slingshot. But I do generally prefer waist bags. So if you're fairly tall (I am quite small) I'd recommend this. The bag is good quality & the opening is much better than the offtrail.
I'd recommend the bag for quality, capacity etc. But I would definitely make sure you see the real thing before buying.
