Good 2nd bag for travelling light June 28, 2010

I have a Canon 40D with 4 lenses and a flash and various accessories including memory cards, chargers, cleaning kit and all of this goes into a Lowepro Slingshot bag. Although the lowepro slingshot is a good bag it becomes very heavy with all this kit and some occasions require you to travel light. The topload zoom 1 case is ideal for when you want to travel with the minimum kit. It fits the canon 40d body with when fitted with one of my lenses (I have . Although it's a snug fit it does the job well. The lenses I use with my Canon 40D that will fit in the bag when attached to the camera body are Canon 50mm F1.8 MK2, Sigma 30mm F1.4 and Canon 17-85mm. I also have a Sigma 10-22 which should fit but I cannot say 100% as I haven't tried it.
The bag has enough room for memory cards and a charger or USB card reader.

Great bag - lots of space. Camera is well protected and there's plenty of extra space. I don't have any extra lens so don't know whether one fits in - probably would. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this case as wanted a small case just for one lens and camera. this bag is perfect. If I plan to travel light I usually carry only one lens and this bag is very useful. there is enough space for few accessories as well. the padding is excellent and both the camera and lens are well protected. if you have lens like nikon 105mm VR or any lens of this length the bag is perfect. very happy with the bag

I find that this bag is very good when in use as its wide carrying strap means you
can carry an slr camera with a heavy zoom lens attached, such as the 5d with a 105mm lens
comfortably.
Its opens conveniently with the flap folding forward away from you, this is good
because its leaves both your hands free for getting the camera out quickly.
With my previous bag the flap opened towards me and needed to be
kept out of the way with one hand.
This bag has a good sized pocket on the front that I use to carry extras such as spare
batterys, memory cards and a lens dusting brush.
It also has a small zipped pocket inside the flap ideal for storing your lens cap whilst
the camera is in use.

Bought this to carry my Canon 450D. It's excellent because I can carry an extra lens on the front pocket. I also own a lowepro backpack for when I have to carry more with me. Both are great and I recommend them. Delivery was super fast too.
