Superb quality and value August 6, 2010 Adam As per the review title, and fits my EOS 500d perfectly with the standard lens. Could fit in a lens pen and a air bellows, not much else though but brilliant for my needs.
Small, handy and good for SLR camera March 3, 2010 A. Lapinska (London, UK) I bought this for my Nikon D90+ 18-105 mm VR camera. It fits perfect, is small and handy with additional pockets to put your stuff.
A lot smaller than it looks, but the quality is ok February 24, 2010 J. Cooper 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
When this item arrived in the post, I was surprised at how compact it was. It really isn't big enough to carry a DSLR camera, lens and the charger pack which is what I was led to believe this would do. Instead, I'm left with a case that's too small to house everything and too big to house just my camera. That said, the quality is good if that is what you are looking for.
Perfect for Nikon D90 January 9, 2010 BSW (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this to protect and transport my Nikon D90 with Nikkor 18-200mm VRII lens. I wanted a bag with a small form-factor to aid transportation and to fit inside another small rucksack on days out to hide the fact I'm carrying a DSLR.
Does the job admirably. The bag is small and perfectly formed. It has a rugged and sturdy feel, typical of Lowepro kit and is well constructed. There is about 1cm thick padding inside the stiff nylon outer walls to protect the camera from knocks and movement. There is quite a large main compartment, with a moveable divider, which attaches to the main walls with 2 slips of velcro. The position of this can be fine-tuned to fit around your lens and the tip of it actually has a hinged part, which can be bent to mold around the body and grip of your camera, holding it in place within the compartment. My D90, placed in lens-first is a comfortable fit and doesn't move around within the bag. There is then enough room on the other side of the divider to take a smaller lens; I don't have a second (yet), but think the Nikkor 35mm 1.8 should fit in there perfectly! (fingers crossed!) There are also small compartments which are netted and a few little flat pockets for cloths, SD cards etc. Shoulder strap is comfortable and very strong, with an extra pad for your shoulder. A little 'rain mac' folds out of a little pocket on the bottom of the case and has an elasticated edge, so that it can be folded up over the bag to make the zippers etc. watertight (see my pictures, when Amazon add them!). This doesn't cover all of the back wall of the bag when extended, but does cover all the zips. Opening the zips fully also opens the face of the bag, aiding removal of the camera and accessories.
Very happy with this item. Highly recommended.
excellent buy for Canon EOS 450D January 5, 2010 E. Maher (Ireland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use this bag for my Canon EOS 450 D with the standard 18-55 mm lens. The camera fits into the bag with the lens attached and there is about an inch left at the top for the shoulder strap. It's also plenty big for a spare battery, a remote control and memory cards - but not much more.
I agree with the other reviews: great quality, well padded, lightweight. It's ideal if you mainly use one lens and don't want to carry around a huge bag. I have not used the hidden rain cover yet but I don't walk around in the rain for hours anyway. It has a belt loop as well but with a DSLR inside it's probably too havy to put on your belt.
Cannot fault this product - excellent buy, absolutely no regrets!
